The club has a full program of events throughout the winter, with weekend cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, as well as mid-week hiking and skating. We also have some multi-day events, mostly weekend or extended weekend trips.

We are running 4 buses this year at 2 week intervals. The first two will be to Highlands Nordic and include an option to take lessons with a CANSI instructor. The last two will be to Arrowhead provincial park.

We will plan to visit different X-C ski areas where snowshoeing is also available, so members can meet up and ski or snowshoe together within the group limits of provincial regulations. 

There are weekly ski buses on Saturdays, which transport members in comfortable highway coaches to a variety of X-C ski centres. Snowshoers are also welcome as most ski centres also have snowshoe trails. 

Costs are minimal, just the bus fare/car pool contribution and trail fees, if applicable.

The club has several pairs of showshoes available to members at no cost on a first come, first served basis.

With all these great events, there is no reason to hibernate this winter. Looking forward to seeing you on the trails.
